My SoZen Journey

My life is driven by a passion for people, a thirst for success, and a love of all things off-humor and creative. I graduated from Wichita State University with a BA in Communications focused on Integrated Marketing in 2012. I'm a proud Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni (KS- Eta). For the last 8 years I've been hard at work cutting my creative teeth within the field of marketing. I have a passion for social media management (organic & paid), content development (static & motion), & digital storytelling. I consider myself a creative solutions specialist and love rolling up my sleeves and getting involved with campaigns, brand development, and helping craft communications efforts for the end goal of building relationships. I live in Denver, CO and when I'm not working I find myself hiking, playing tennis, volunteering, and finding new ways to emit a zest for life. I founded SoZen because I continue to see a vacuum of quality marketing support that's both affordable, flexible and offers tangible ROI. I continue to have conversations with non-profits and small businesses that all echo "oh, we can't afford that exposure." I created SoZen as my creative arm to reach out and tell others that marketing isn't mystical. Your brand should be known and celebrated. Often, your brand is a few steps away from being the best it can be in a digital space. As a tech enthusiast, I love identifying new, practical tools that help create a message. I get energized identifying how we get that message in front of your audience. Marketing shouldn't be stressful. You should know exactly how your marketing is working for you. It should be practical.
